Guest
Rooms
Guest rooms in the Inn are large and spacious
offering antique furnishings, air conditioning, telephone/data port, fresh flowers, and award-winning handmade Burdick Chocolates at bedside. Plenty of common areas are available in the house for guests to socialize or relax in including a plant-filled sunroom with views overlooking the farm and gardens, a library with working fireplace and stocked with numerous books on local and regional history, a comfortable living room with views of the terraced gardens, a formal dining room with raised hearth, and a game room with all the perennial favorites.
Breakfast is a multi-course homemade affair, which always includes fruit, breads, and entrees made with fresh eggs and organic produce raised right here at the farm. The inn's breakfast menu always centers around what's fresh and local so it changes regularly with the amazing bounty that's on or around our farm. Some of our guests' favorites include strawberry/rhubarb compote with fresh orange and local cream, baked apples with homemade granola and fresh chocolate mint, crème Brule French toast, chocolate amaretto pound cake, decadent popovers with homemade jams, and Swiss chard and leek frittata to name a few. A gourmet brown bag can also be assembled for early departures or the hiker or businessperson on the go. Guests' dietary restrictions are happily honored with advance notice.
And for those with a sweet tooth, the cookie jar is always full of homemade confections like Valley Farms' Very Best Chocolate Chip cookies, Butter Pecan Toffee cookies or Dark Chocolate Shortbread. A butler's pantry available 24/7 with a guest refrigerator, hot water and coffee maker, sink, wine glasses, wine opener, silverware, etc. helps add to the enjoyment of your stay with us.
All guest rooms in the Inn are on the second floor and suitable for guests over the age of twelve.
"Simply wonderful - a perfect getaway. Gracious hosts providing good food and soothing surroundings. Thank you."
