Saturday, March 5th marks the 10th anniversary of Keene’s Ice and Snow Festival – a fun local event for the whole family. This annual event takes place in nearby Keene, NH a short drive from our NH bed and breakfast and is a welcome distraction to the seemingly endless New England winter! A full day of events is planned from 10-4 and includes professional and student ice carving competitions as well as snow sculpturing and a snowboard rail jam. Family activities include: a lil’ tot snow slide, a bonfire and s’mores, horse drawn wagon rides, musical performances, and more. Admission to all of the events is free. Why not take advantage of the abundant fresh snowfall and our reduced winter cottage rates (which include buy-one-get-one Granite Gorge ski passes) and make a memorable weekend of it???
