Saturday, August 11th marks our 8th Annual Outdoor Movie Night here at the Inn at Valley Farms. Join us for an evening of old-fashioned fun! An evening where we set up our century-old post and beam barn as a movie cinema complete with endless amounts of freshly popped popcorn, homemade cookies, and drinks. Then gather our favorite blankets, pillows, chairs, family, friends and neighbors to watch great cinema projected on the side of the barn.
The fun begins at 7pm when we gather for dessert and conversation amidst classic cartoons. Then @ 7:30 we’ll start this year’s feature film – the 1960 Disney Technicolor film… Swiss Family Robinson! The classic tale of the adventures of the shipwrecked Robinson family as they carve a new life for themselves on a lush tropical island – action and adventure for the whole family!
This event is a favorite of young and old alike so bring your children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors to the Inn at Valley Farms for a night of great family fun. The Inn at Valley Farms’ Movie Night is held rain or shine and is open to the public. Free-will donations accepted. Bring a dessert (finger type) to share if you can. Hay bale seating available or bring your own blanket or chair.
There are endless other family activities in the Monadnock Region and rooms are still available at the Inn for those wanting to extend the fun and make a weekend out of it.
The Inn at Valley Farms is located at 633 Wentworth Road in Walpole, NH just 3 1/2 miles from the center of downtown Walpole and just past the back entrance to Alyson’s Orchard.
